The Sindh High Court ordered the permanent removal of Sindh Information Minister and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Sharjeel Memon from the Exit Control List (ECL).

A 2-member bench headed by Justice KK Agha of the Supreme Court pronounced the verdict on the appeal of Sharjeel Memon.

The lawyer of the petitioner Sharjeel Memon had taken a position in the court that Sindh Provincial Minister Sharjeel Memon has to go abroad for official work.

The petitioner's counsel had requested the Supreme Court to order the permanent removal of Sharjeel Memon's name from the ECL.

Earlier this month, the Sindh High Court ordered the removal of Sharjeel Inam Memon's name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
