Federal Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman has said that giving relief to the people is our first priority, we have come here today only for the people of Karachi.



It should be noted that a committee consisting of ministers and members of the National Assembly has been established to estimate the damages due to rains and floods in Sindh.



This committee also includes Federal Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman and Federal Minister for IT Aminul Haque who visited the affected areas of Karachi today.



Talking to the media along with Federal Minister IT Aminul Haq in Karachi, Federal Minister Sherry Rehman said that we have to work together beyond politics.



He said that a committee of ministers has been formed to provide relief to the people of Karachi, and both the federal and provincial governments will work together.



Sherry Rehman said that it is our priority to compensate the victims, and the damage assessment report should be given soon.



Regarding the non-availability of a DHA representative during his review visit, he said that why no DHA representative came. It is very regrettable that they did not come.



Sherry Rehman said that reporting is not being done from many areas of Sindh, we will go to the rural areas tomorrow and the day after tomorrow and report to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif after reviewing the situation.



The federal minister said that this time it rained more than expected, and we will come again because the monsoon season will start again in August.



 Sherry Rehman said that all of us are responsible for Karachi.



A committee has been set up to estimate the damages.



It should be noted that a committee consisting of ministers and members of the National Assembly will be established to estimate the damage due to rains and floods in Sindh.



The said federal committee will compile a report on the damages caused to private and government properties due to rains in Sindh.



This committee includes federal ministers Aminul Haque, Sherry Rehman, Abid Bhayu, Aamir Magsi, and Ghulam Mustafa Shah.



Similarly, Khildas Kohistani from Muslim League (N) is also a part of this committee.



The federal government's committee will submit recommendations to the prime minister for redressing the loss of life and property due to rains.
