The American media has said in its report that the Qatari government has confirmed investment in Pakistan.

According to the American broadcasting organization Bloomberg, the decision to invest in Pakistan was made in a meeting between the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

The report states that Qatar Wealth Fund is considering investing $3 billion in Pakistan, the Qatari fund may invest in Pakistan's airports (Karachi and Islamabad) and hospitality industry.
