Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has contacted the Commander Balochistan Corps, the Army Chief received information about the flood situation in Balochistan.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), the Army Chief has directed the Commander Balochistan Corps to cooperate with the Balochistan government in all possible ways.

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa says that the communication system has been greatly damaged due to rains and floods in Balochistan, the army should use all possible resources to help the affected population.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that the army should work on the restoration of infrastructure and communication system on an emergency basis.

He also said that helping the flood victims is the national duty of Pakistan Army.
