The Provincial Election Commissioner strongly denied the MQM's allegations

Provincial Election Commissioner Ijaz Chauhan strongly denied the allegations of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan.
Provincial Election Commissioner Ejaz Chauhan while reacting to Senator Farogh Naseem's statement said that Farogh Naseem said that the Election Commission staff is in collusion with the Sindh government in local government constituencies. The talk is baseless, there is no truth in it.
Ejaz Chauhan said that the Election Commission has demarcated constituencies under the law, the Election Act, there is a procedure for delimitation in the Sindh Local Government Act and Rules. Categorizing rural areas is the responsibility of the Sindh government.
The Provincial Election Commissioner said that deciding the number of seats in any council is also the responsibility of the Sindh government.
Allegations of MQM Pakistan
Earlier, MQM leader Senator Farogh Naseem said that the staff of Election Commission of Sindh is mixed with the provincial government.
The former federal minister also said that no accusation is being made against the Chief Election Commissioner.
