Grammy award-winning Pakistani singer Arooj Aftab has won another big honor.

President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi has honored 253 Pakistani citizens as well as some foreign citizens with Pakistan Civil Awards on the occasion of the country's Diamond Jubilee i.e. 75th Independence Day.

On this occasion, Urooj Aftab also received the highest literary award for his excellent performance in the field of art and music.

Remember that Brooklyn-based Pakistani singer Arooj Aftab made her country proud by winning the first Grammy Award at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

Arooj won the 'Best Global Music Performance' award for his popular song 'Love' at the 64th Grammy Awards.

Apart from Arooj Aftab, many famous personalities including Muhammad Qavi Khan (Performing Arts), Jahangir Khan (Squash), Amjad Islam Amjad (Poetry), Anjum Shaheen aka Anjuman (Art-Acting), Parveen aka Sangeeta (Art-Film Director) and Others were also involved.

It should be noted that the citizens who have been honored with awards in recognition of their services in various fields, the ceremony of these awards will be held on 23 March 2023 on Pakistan Day.
