China has decided to continue military exercises near Taiwan, and Taiwan has condemned China's decision.

Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the expansion of Chinese military exercises around Taiwan is condemnable.

The Ministry of External Affairs further said that China is deliberately creating a crisis and increasing provocation.

Taiwan's foreign ministry said the Chinese government should immediately stop military threats. Taiwan will neither fear nor back down from these threats.

Earlier, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that Taiwan is part of China, conducting the exercises in its territorial waters.

In its statement, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the military exercises are being conducted in a free, transparent, and professional manner. Airlines stay out of the danger zone around Taiwan.

China launched military exercises last week in response to US Speaker Nancy Pelosi's controversial visit to Taiwan.
