Darawat Dam in the Jamshoro district of Sindh was also flooded with water for the first time after heavy rains.


Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab shared a video taken from a helicopter in which the dam can be seen filled with water.


Murtaza Wahab said that this is the first time that the dam is full due to heavy rain.


It should be remembered that former President Asif Ali Zardari approved the Darawat Dam in 2008.


The dam was completed in 2014 at a cost of 11.67 billion rupees, the depth of the dam is 112.5 meters or 369 feet.


25 thousand acres of land can be supplied with water through Darwat Dam.


The area of ​​the dam is 10,500 acres and it has a storage capacity of 121,600-acre feet of water.
