This week, the inflation rate in the country increased by 0.95%, after which the overall rate was recorded at 30.62%.


The Bureau of Statistics has released the weekly inflation report, during which the prices of 20 essential items have increased.


According to the report, the price of onion has increased by 40 rupees 13 paisa and the price of tomato has increased by 41 rupees 11 paisa per kg.


According to the Institute of Statistics, the price of 190 grams of tea has increased by 8 rupees 35 paise, while the price of pulses per kg has increased by 81 paise.


According to the report, the price of mung dal has increased by Rs 1 per kg, while the price of live chicken has increased by Rs 1 85 paise per kg.


According to the Bureau of Statistics, soap, milk, mutton, eggs and rice have also become expensive this week.


According to the report, the prices of 10 items decreased in the recent week while stability was seen in 21 items.


According to the Bureau of Statistics, domestic LPG cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 119 63 paise and a 20 kg bag of flour has become cheaper by Rs 48 55 paise.


According to the report, the price of ghee per kg has decreased by 64 paise and the price of lentil has decreased by 5 rupees.


According to the Bureau of Statistics, the price of sugar, banana, garlic and potato has also decreased this week.
