The spokesperson of Utility Stores Corporation says that despite the increase in the price of pulses, pulses are being sold cheaper in utility stores than in the market.



According to the spokesperson of Utility Stores Corporation, tenders for procurement of pulses are conducted as per the Pepper rules.



Utility stores got higher rates of pulses, so the rates were increased.



Spokesperson Utility Stores has said that gram dal is Rs 220 per kg at utility stores, which is being sold at Rs 240 to Rs 300 per kg in the market.



According to the spokesperson, lentil dal is Rs 310 per kg at utility stores while it is being sold at Rs 340 to 390 per kg in the market.
