The federal government has made petrol cheaper and diesel expensive.

According to a notification issued by the Finance Ministry, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 3 to 5 paise per liter, after which the new price will be Rs 227 by 19 paise per liter.

The notification states that the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs 8 to 95 paise per liter, after which the new price has been fixed at Rs 244 to 95 paise per liter.

According to the Finance Ministry, the price of kerosene will be Rs 4 to 62 paise per liter after the new price will be Rs. 7 paise per liter.

The notification states that the price of light diesel oil has been reduced by 12 paise to Rs 191, 32 paise per liter.
