Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi directed Chief Secretary Kamran Afzal to visit the flood-affected areas today and personally supervise the rehabilitation works.

Pervez Elahi also approved the increase in financial aid for the families of those who died due to floods and rains.

On the other hand, Information Adviser Punjab Umar Sarfraz Cheema has said that the rulers are busy on foreign trips leaving the flood victims helpless.

Addressing the Prime Minister, Umar Sarfraz Cheema said that the flood has not come from Qatar, but from Pakistan. These bandits do not see the nation submerged in flood.
