The federal cabinet approved lifting the ban on the import of luxury goods.

According to sources, the Federal Cabinet has approved the decisions of the ECC through circulation.

Sources say that the ban on imports of cigarettes, chocolates, juices, carpets, cosmetics and tissue papers has been approved.

The federal cabinet has approved lifting of ban on import of dog, cat food, fish, footwear, fruits and dry fruits, furniture, ice cream, jam and jelly.

Sources say that apart from this, the ban on import of leather jackets, shampoo, sunglasses, ketchup, traveling bags, suitcases, arms, pasta, musical instruments and frozen meat has been lifted.

The cabinet has also approved lifting of ban on import of door and window frames, decoration articles, crockery and corn flakes.

It should be noted that the federal government had banned hundreds of items of 33 categories on May 19, 2022.
