The Punjab Cabinet has approved the Ehsaas Ration Discount Program.

In a statement issued on the social media website Twitter, the chairperson Ehsaas program Dr. Sania Nishtar said that 8 million families will benefit from 100 billion rupees under the Ehsaas ration program.

He informed that the registration for consumers and shopkeepers in the Ehsaas Ration Program has started from today, under which there will be a discount of up to 40% on flour, dal, ghee, or cooking oil.

Dr. Sania Nishtar further says that households and shopkeepers should register in the program by scanning the QR code, shopkeepers who are already in the program do not need to re-register.

They also say that the vendors will get an 8 percent commission on every subsidized sale, and they will also get valuable prizes from the raffle every quarter.
