 Germany has announced to give 100 million euros in aid to flood victims in Pakistan.


During a press conference with Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Berlin, German Foreign Minister Annalina Bierbork said that Pakistan was badly affected by the floods, which is difficult to estimate.


He further said that the flood victims especially children are forced to live under the open sky while the mosquito born from the flood water is causing malaria. The German Foreign Minister said that Pakistan is being affected the most by climate change.


He said that Germany is the most important trade partner of Pakistan and German companies are investing in infrastructure projects in Pakistan.


In addition, German Foreign Minister Annalina Bierbork said regarding Kabul that Pakistan's role on the issue of Afghanistan has always been important, with the support of Pakistan, a large number of people were evacuated from Afghanistan, and many people from Afghanistan were sheltered in Germany. went

On this occasion, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistan and Germany have excellent diplomatic relations and are getting stronger.


In addition, he said that starting from monsoon in Pakistan and continuing till the end of August, there were heavy rains in monsoon which created flood situation.


He said that the catastrophic flood caused the biggest disaster in history in Pakistan and one third of the area was severely affected. Pakistan is included in the list of 10 countries affected by climate change.
