Athlete Arshad Nadeem, who won the gold medal for Pakistan in the javelin throw competition of the Commonwealth Games, continues to be felicitated by prominent personalities of Pakistan.

President Arif Alvi congratulated Arshad Nadeem for winning a gold medal for Pakistan in the Commonwealth Games and creating history and said that he is the pride of the nation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said in a statement on Twitter, that Arshad Nadeem has made Pakistan proud by winning the gold medal in the Commonwealth Games.

Shahbaz Sharif wrote 'Arshad Nadeem's consistency, passion, and hard work are instructive for our youth'.

Prime Minister said 'Arshad, congratulations on your great achievement'.

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa also congratulated Arshad Nadeem.

Apart from this, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani also congratulated Arshad Nadeem for his excellent performance in the javelin competition.

Vice President Muslim League-N Maryam Nawaz said, Well done Arshad Nadeem for making Pakistan's name bright, you have made us proud, well done champion.

In its statement, the coordination committee of MQM Pakistan said that Arshad Nadeem, who won the gold medal in athletics after many decades, is a national hero.
