Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah stopped IG Islamabad from raiding Bani Gala.

The Interior Minister contacted IG Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir from Saudi Arabia over phone and got the details related to Shahbaz Gul case.

Sources say that the Interior Minister stopped IG Islamabad from raiding Bani Gala to arrest Shehbaz Gul's driver, while he also expressed his displeasure with IG Islamabad over the arrest of Shahbaz Gul's driver's wife.

Sources say that the IG Islamabad while talking to the Interior Minister said that the driver is in Bani Gala, a raid is needed to arrest him, in response to which Rana Sanaullah said that the accused driver should be handed over to the residents of Bani Gala. The matter should be decided.

The Home Minister directed that non-cooperation should be brought to my attention and permission should be taken before the raid on Bani Gala.

Sources say that the interior minister directed that the driver should be arrested in any case to recover Shahbaz Gul's laptop and mobile phone, the sanctity of the chador and four walls should be taken care of during the raid, during the arrest and collection of evidence. The law should be fully respected.

Rana Sanaullah said that arresting housewives is not the policy and tradition of our government or Muslim League (N), and no such action can be encouraged.
