Heavy rains have ended in Karachi for now, while the rains in other cities of Sindh including Hyderabad and Balochistan are predicted to continue till tomorrow.

Due to heavy rain in Sanghar, the low-lying areas have been flooded, water has entered houses and shops, there is a fear of urban flooding in some cities.

The Meteorological Department has also predicted flooding in the rivers of South Punjab and Lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Rain water has entered houses and offices in DI Khan, Gilgit.

On the other hand, it has been raining for two days in the mountains in Mount Sulaiman range along with Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, due to which the land connection between Balochistan with the rest of the country has been cut off.

Meanwhile, landslides have occurred in Dhanasar. The Zhob Dera bridge in Mughalkot has been washed away, resulting in suspension of traffic on the Zhob DI Khan highway and long queues of vehicles.
