After the acceptance of the resignation of eleven members of the National Assembly of Tehreek-e-Insaaf, preparations for the by-elections in all these constituencies including Faisalabad have been intensified by Muslim League-N and its allied parties.

Farrukh Habib's constituency NA 108 in Faisalabad is of political importance, if the by-elections are held there, Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali is expected to win, while the leaders and members of PTI are worried and confused, the decision to boycott the by-elections or go to the election. According to online, after the resignation of 11 members of the PTI was accepted by the National Assembly, preparations for by-elections in all these constituencies by the Muslim League-N and its allied parties have gained momentum. Around 100 members of the National Assembly are still MNA.s' Hostels are getting benefits along with accommodation.

Various other parties including the PDM parties in the government have decided to field their candidates and run campaigns to participate fully in the by-elections, while Jamaat-e-Islami, Tehreek-e-Libak Pakistan, Pak Sarzamen have also decided to put up their candidates.

If Tehreek-e-Insaf boycotts the by-election, then Pakistan Muslim League-N will easily win five seats, while the candidates of allied parties were successful in other seats, while more than two dozen members of PTI resigned in a few days. After the approval of the National Assembly, the Speaker will issue a notification to the Election Commissioner of Pakistan, on which the Election Commission of Pakistan will issue the by-election schedule within 60 days.

The resigned members of PTI said while talking online that the party leadership had said that general elections will be held across the country in October, but in the current situation, it is estimated that the general elections will be held in the next year 2023.

It is expected that the resigning members will be grouped and they will decide to go back to the assembly, while the decision to participate in the by-election or not will be taken by Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
