The US House of Representatives on Friday approved a bill to ban automatic weapons.

According to a foreign news agency, the bill will now be sent to the Senate, where it is likely to be rejected.

Democrats in the House of Representatives approved the legislation by a vote of 217 to 213.

The approved law banned the sale of automatic rifles.

It should be noted that the Democrats have been trying for the past several years to restore the ban on weapons enacted in 1994, this ban expired in 2004 after 10 years.

On the other hand, Republicans say that citizens have the right to bear arms according to the Second Amendment of the US Constitution.
