Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Senator Saleem Mandviwala has said that PTI's reference against the Chief Election Commissioner is blackmailing.

In a statement, Senator Saleem Mandviwala said that Tehreek-e-Insaf is putting pressure on the Election Commission to avoid the foreign funding case.

He said that Imran Khan himself used to praise the Chief Election Commissioner, despite reservations, the People's Party stands with the Election Commission.

On the other hand, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal has demanded from the Election Commission that the decision of the PTI prohibited funding case should be pronounced immediately.
